Coach Lodree was born & raised in Chicago, Illinois & its surrounding suburbs. Growing up his home life was centered on faith in God & the unity & trust of their family of ten. Early on, it was evident that he had two loves – basketball & education. He focused on his academic studies while practicing & trying out for multiple semi-professional teams. In 2003, he was invited and attended USBL Dodge City Legends training camp. In 2004, he pursued his college education & play basketball for Triton College in River Grove, IL. In 2006, he was a vital part of Triton College finishing 8th in nation among junior colleges. After leaving Triton with an Associate of Arts in Education, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Dominican University. In 2010, he received another opportunity to play basketball in the semi-pro league with the Chicago Steam.
After an extensive basketball career, Coach Lodree desired to give back to a sport that had given him so much over the years & co-founded Four Point Play, Inc. His goal is to instill in each athlete a professional attitude, spiritual fortitude and work ethic that will not only impact the athletes’ basketball endeavors, but life goals & aspirations, as well. His basketball skills, knowledge & passion are advanced, and can be utilized and implemented in any capacity. He is married with four children and believes that leading by example is the key to success at home, on the basketball court, and in life.
Coach Walker has called the city of Chicago his home since childhood. Throughout his life, he has been surrounded by a variety of sports, but basketball ignited his distinctive talents. He began his college career at Triton College in River Grove, IL where he played point guard. In 2006, Triton College finished 8th in nation among junior colleges, partly due to his proficiency in defense, passing and dribbling. Due to his multiple talents, he was scouted by University of Wisconsin- Superior. He accepted the invitation and continued his academic studies and basketball career. After his studies at UWS, he returned home and continued to develop his skills and knowledge of the sport. He participated in multiple tournaments and leagues around the state to continue to build his resume. Currently he holds multiple positions at The Frances Xavier Warde School as the 7th and 8th grade girls Head Basketball coach, 6th grade P.E. Teacher, Assistant Coach Flag Football and Track Coach.
Coach Walker’s success in basketball has afforded him the opportunity to mentor and advise many youth within his community. It is these exchanges that caused him to desire to do more. Therefore, he co-founded Four Point Play, Inc. to be a positive resource for the youth in the community through the sport that he loves and knows so well. Through Four Point Play, Inc., he hopes to give the youth an outlet to explore, improve and enjoy the love of basketball just as he did throughout his life.
